Gerlie is a Senior Professional with 15+year – progressive international experience gained working in the Government, Non-profit organization, and private businesses across industry sectors. Gerlie is a relationship-focused leader recognized by colleagues and managers for the ability to engage with C-level executives & stakeholders to shape strategic road maps and drive projects from inception to delivery.
She is passionate about impactful initiatives that drive growth for both people and organizations while staying on top of business challenges and innovative trends. She’s entrepreneurial by nature with a solid background in organizational psychology for business development, complex sales, strategic partnerships development, and international relations.
Professionally she’s the Head of Executive Education at the Rome Business School. Moreover, Gerlie is the incumbent President of the Professional Women’s Association of Rome. She has made it her mission to support women in their professional development and devotes her free time to organize activities that create opportunities for women to learn, network, and grow in their professional and personal lives. She strongly supports strategic partnerships that promote women’s economic empowerment, lifelong learning, and equal access to employment opportunities. She knows the importance of building resilience to global challenges especially in the wake of a pandemic situation like COVID-19.
Having had lived and worked abroad, she has developed a cultural intelligence, active curiosity for technology, and innovation that helps her achieve her goals. In 2009, she was honored to be a recipient of the Rotary Service Award during the fundraising Gala for the benefit of children with cardiac diseases. In 2020 she won the “Woman of the Year Award”. Gerlie was born in the Philippines, where she attended the De La Salle University – Dasmariñas for her Bachelor of Arts – Major in Community Psychology. Her record of academic achievements and professional career history demonstrates attributes a commitment to service, organization values, passion for people, and professionalism.
